Office Update

To Our Valued Patients -

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our world and our community have been through a lot over the last several months. We miss seeing you and are looking forward to resuming our new normal. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same – our commitment to you as our valued patient and your safety while in our office.

This letter is an update to what we are doing to maintain safety while providing your dental care. Our office has always followed infection control recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control andPrevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are committed to ensuring that our infection control procedures are current and effective.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next visit. We have put in safety measures to protect both our patients and our dental team. Some changes you will see are:

• Use of provided hand sanitizer as you enter our office.
• Face coverings are requested but we understand those with certain health conditions will be unable to comply.
• As part of your health record, temperatures will be taken with a touchless device.
• Your health history update will include COVID screening questions that will be asked a few days before your appointment either by email, text or phone and again when you arrive in the office.
• Items that are difficult to disinfect will no longer be offered in our waiting room such as magazines, puzzles, and children’s toys.
• If you require support when you come for your appointment, please limit this to one person. If you do not require support, please come by yourself.
• We have made sure there is plenty of space between our waiting room chairs and have also placed floor decals to ensure proper spacing while waiting to check in.
